Bridge the Gap: How Houston BOMA Volunteers Made a Lasting Difference

Houston BOMA members and volunteers recently came together for Bridge the Gap: BOMA’s Day of Giving, a one-day community service project dedicated to supporting The Bridge Over Troubled Waters. The event reflected Houston BOMA’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and supporting local organizations that make a lasting impact.
Throughout the day, volunteers worked to restore and revitalize The Bridge’s campus, which provides safety, support, and prevention services for individuals affected by domestic and sexual violence. Together, they completed a wide range of projects, including:
-
Beginning a pantry organization project
-
Shredding and disposing of confidential documentation
-
Building two new sheds on-site
-
Organizing and cleaning the maintenance shed
-
Completing several landscaping projects throughout the facility
Each project contributed to improving the daily operations and environment at The Bridge, creating a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming space for residents and staff.
Houston BOMA extends its sincere gratitude to the sponsors and in-kind service providers who helped make this day possible.
