Join the Nationwide Tribute for Nurses Week

Houston BOMA is inviting members to take part in a meaningful nationwide tribute by lighting their buildings in celebration of National Nurses Week this May.

Nurses Light Up the Sky, led by the American Nurses Enterprise, is a growing initiative that honors the dedication, compassion, and impact of nurses across the country. During National Nurses Week, buildings, landmarks, and healthcare facilities are illuminated to recognize the essential role nurses play in our communities.

Last year, 206 buildings participated in this initiative, creating a powerful visual tribute across the nation. This year, the goal is to shine even brighter, and Houston BOMA members are encouraged to help expand that impact across our city.

By participating, members can help raise awareness, spark community pride, and contribute to a collective show of appreciation for nurses. Whether lighting a building, sharing photos, or spreading the word, every effort helps amplify this important message.

We encourage you to light your building during National Nurses Week and share your participation on social media using #ThePowerOfNurses and #NursesLightUpTheSky.
