Light Your Building Red for Fallen Firefighters

Houston BOMA is inviting members to take part in a meaningful nationwide tribute by lighting their buildings red on May 2, 2026—or at any time between April 26 and May 3, 2026.  

Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters, led by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, takes place each year during the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend. What began in 2017 as part of the Foundation’s 25th anniversary has grown into a powerful tradition, with communities across the country illuminating homes, landmarks, and commercial buildings in red to recognize the courage and sacrifice of firefighters who gave their lives in the line of duty.

By participating, Houston BOMA members can help create a visible show of support across the city while honoring the families and colleagues of fallen heroes.
