Houston BOMA Hosts Interactive AI in Action Workshop

Houston BOMA members and guests gathered for the AI in Action Workshop, a hands-on training session focused on how artificial intelligence can support the daily work of commercial real estate professionals. Led by instructor Jen Suddreth, the workshop offered attendees from property management, engineering, and service provider roles a practical introduction to tools that are quickly becoming part of how the industry works, communicates, and makes decisions.

Designed as an interactive experience, the session invited attendees to bring their laptops and smartphones to follow along and test tools in real time. Participants worked with several widely used AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini, using either their company versions or the free versions of each product.

The session also gave Houston BOMA an opportunity to better understand member interest in AI and to explore opportunities for future training on this growing topic.
