International Code Council (ICC) Code Proposals of Interest to BOMA

BOMA International Codes staff aim to increase transparency in the code development process and ensure that BOMA members are represented accurately.

Below, you will find information regarding the International Code Council’s upcoming second Committee Action Hearing (CAH) of 2025. As a reminder, BOMA is represented at each of ICC’s CAHs every year. This next hearing will take place October 22–30, 2025. The first hearing occurred earlier this year in April and May, and the October session will cover hundreds of code proposals along with the public comments submitted since the spring hearings.

The document below highlights the public comments identified as most relevant to BOMA members by BOMA International Codes staff. Each comment includes a recommended action that reflects BOMA International’s stance.
