Commercial Real Estate City Hall Advocacy Day Hosted by Houston BOMA
One of Houston BOMA's most important activities is our involvement in the legislative and regulatory process. This August, you have a chance to get directly involved in our advocacy efforts and make a difference!
You're invited to join us for a Commercial Real Estate City Hall Advocacy Day on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. You'll learn about Houston BOMA's relationship with the City of Houston and meet with City Council Members to provide a unified voice for commercial real estate.
We'll start with lunch and an advocacy briefing, where we will coach attendees on how to engage with elected officials, explain the current issues facing property owners and managers, and share our position statements. Participants will then be assigned to groups led by experienced advocates to conduct meetings with City Council Members. Afterward, participants are welcome to join us at Adair Downtown for refreshments.
No advocacy experience is required! We'll give you the tools and knowledge you need to advocate for commercial real estate, including talking points, handouts, and step-by-step instructions. Register now to represent Houston BOMA and help build important relationships with our elected officials!
