Our Annual Awards of Excellence recognize members who make a meaningful impact on the association and the commercial real estate industry. Awards highlight creativity, innovation, communication, and professional achievement. You may nominate yourself or any employee of a Houston BOMA member company during the nomination window.

Award Categories

Executive Manager of the Year
Honors a senior leader for outstanding contributions to building management and professional growth. Must oversee commercial properties and be a member in good standing.

Property Manager of the Year
Recognizes excellence in operations, leadership, sustainability, efficiency, and tenant relations. Requires a supervisor letter of support.

Assistant Property Manager of the Year
Honors strong performance in tenant relations, contract oversight, and budget support.

Young Professional of the Year
Recognizes emerging leaders with five years or less in BOMA who demonstrate initiative, growth, and involvement. Requires a supervisor letter.

Engineer of the Year
Awards innovation in saving energy, time, or costs, along with strong professionalism and industry involvement. Requires a supervisor letter.

Committee Chair of the Year
Honors exceptional leadership, team building, and committee impact.

Administrative Assistant of the Year
Recognizes excellence in front office operations, communication, and administrative support.

Allied Member of the Year
Honors a service provider for outstanding contributions to BOMA and the industry.

Eugene Barbles Lifetime Achievement Award
Recognizes a retired member with 20+ years of service and lasting impact on the industry.
