Whova App User Guide for
Expo Attendees

Download & Sign In To the Whova App

1. Download the Whova app here, or search for Whova in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Enter the email address you used for event registration. If you have used the app before, you may have an account and be prompted to enter your password.
3. Create a password or enter your current password. If you have an account but can't remember your password, click "Forgot Password?" for an e-mail link to reset the password.
4. Edit your profile. Other attendees will be able to see this when interacting with you, so make it look nice!
5. The app should automatically take you to the Expo event page. If it asks for an Event Invitation Code, double check to be sure you are signing up with the same e-mail you used to register for the Expo.

Find Parking Information, Expo Floorplan, and More

You can find everything you need to know about the show in the app! From the Home page, you will find these buttons linked directly to important resources and features in the app:

• Photos - View photos uploaded by attendees and exhibitors.
• Floormap - View a map of the Exhibitor booths on the trade show floor.
• Exhibitors - View a list of exhibitors.
• Parking - View parking information and instructions.
• Passport - View your QR code and Passport Contest information (see below).
• WhovaGuide - Instructions and assistance for using the app.

Participate in the Passport Contest to Win Prizes!

You can participate in the Passport Contest to win big prizes! Visit every participating booth, get a stamp on your passport by showing your QR code, and you could win big.

1. Click "Passport" button from the app Home screen to see all participating booths and your QR code. 
2. Visit each participating booth and ask booth staff to scan your QR code. Your QR code can be found on your badge or at the top of the Passport page. 
3. That’s it! You will get a virtual stamp on the passport. Please note, it may take a few minutes for the virtual stamp to show up in your app.
4. Repeat this process for ALL booths on the Passport list to be automatically entered for a shot to win thousands in prizes! Winners will be announced at the 6:30 show closing at the stage.

Utilize Other App Features

The app has many fun features to help you connect with attendees and exhibitors. Here's a few you can select from the navigation pane (located at the very bottom of the page).

• Community - Participate in group chats with other attendees! Find meet-ups, see announcements from the Houston BOMA team, view Exhibitor Promotional Offers, or spark up a fun conversation.
• Attendees - See a list of attendees, view their profiles, and send a message.
• Messages - View message threads you've started or received.
