3-Mar-10 3:00 PM CST BOMA 360 Changes to 3-Year Renewal
Other changes to the BOMA 360 program were announced earlier this year, including changes to the criteria for both the Energy and Environmental/Sustainability sections of the BOMA 360 application that provide the applicant with the opportunity to earn additional points in these sections. Criteria requirements are detailed in newly-revised and expanded instructions for completing the application at www.boma.org/getinvolved/boma360. Also check that site for complete information about the BOMA 360 Performance Program, including requirements, fees, application and a list of current designees.
New Fees Effective July 1, 2010. BOMA 360 application fees will go up beginning July 1, 2010 to reflect the new 3-year renewal change; however, the new fee schedule (fee paid once every 3 years) represents a significant savings off the previous annual fee schedule. To take advantage of current, lower fees, however, be sure to complete and submit your BOMA 360 application prior to July 1. Better yet, submit your application by June 1 so you can be recognized with other BOMA 360 designees at BOMA’s Annual Conference and The Every Building Show June 27-29 in Long Beach, Los Angeles County, CA. www.bomaconvention.org.
SOS for Your SOP. One of the prerequisites for the BOMA 360 designation is a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Manual for the building. BOMA’s new Guide to Developing a Standard Operating Procedure Manual provides step-by-step instructions for creating or updating your building’s or company’s SOP. http://shop.boma.org.
